A Dutch Independent, Christiaan Van der Klaauw's Eclips

In the past 10 years I have only had 3 other VdK pieces come through my hands previously. Unusually I think, two of them have been 18K RG Eclips watches, like this piece.

An astronomical beauty, with a lovely silver guilloche dial and a glowing red gold case. This piece shows the wearer the date, month moonphase with a sun & moon indicator at 12 o'clock together with it's namesake complication, the dial at 6 o'clock showing the solar or lunar eclipse. Christiaan employed the venerable hand engraver Benzinger to decorate the caliber with a 18K solid gold rotor, guilloched by hand.

It comes with all original boxes and papers and has had only one owner.

WILL SELL FOR $SOLD

Current selling price $27,300

And now the lovely hand engraved & guilloched caliber by Benzinger:
