Pre-owned/second hand/used & estate are all names for the same thing, a watch that is no longer new. Buying a used watch is often an opportunity to acquire a piece that is either no longer made/sold out or something of a deal! Condition is key in determining value and what one should pay.

Knowing the seller adds value too, one has recourse. Having knowledge of it's provenance is also valuable; a well cared for watch is more valuable than a "Beater". Beaters can cosmetically be improved, but will allways bear the scars!

We source good condition pre-owned timepieces in order to be able to offer our friends & clients a piece of value and something we are proud of. "No excuses" is our modus operandi when it comes to selling a pre-owned piece. Many watches are warrantied for a year on timekeeping.

If you are looking for a specific make or model, let us know and we'll put it on our client wishlist.

A very rare 18k WG van der Klaauw Astrolabium

This is the pinnacle of Christiaan's watchmaking to date. His most complicated wristwatch features a complication only found to my knowledge on this watch and the rather more famous Ulysse Nardin watch known by the same name. The complexity of the 2D representations of what is essentially a 3D Astrolabe is quite something and much admired by afficianados of astronomical complications in wristwatches.

This 18k WG watch shows a variety of information, the true solar noon, the sunrise and sunset, the moonphase and whether or not there is a solar or lunar eclips happening somewhere on earth. Not to mention the current time and the approximate date!

It comes with all original boxes and papers and is in mint condition. Dial set up for the latitude of Los Angeles.

WILL SELL FOR $32,000

An extremely rare Speake-Marin Piccadilly, the Marin 1 Mk2

I am thrilled to be able to offer this piece to you. Peter made less than ten of these, featuring his own inhouse caliber, the SM2 automatic winding version. Unlikely to be made in the future as the last price was $44,500.

Praised by the likes of John McGonigle, a world class watchmaker and authority in his own right, the German silver bridges and plates are superbly circular grained and the anglage is polished to a mirror finish. Finally his signature logo, the topping tool, is the self-winding rotor, with a massive weight hidden underside out of sight. The polish and level of hand finish here is representative of his superlative work. Designed as a watchmakers caliber, Peter has not only created a beautiful and unique movement, but also made it relatively easy for skilled watchmakers in the future to work on this caliber for centuries to come. Traditional materials are used throughout, so longevity is assured.

Cased in high polish grade 5 Titanium, this killer piece is 42mm in diameter, and features a very difficult to execute 2 part enamel dial semi skeletonised with a blued steel roman numeral frame. Hand applied super-Luminova for the numerals and on the white Foundation style hands make for a well designed finished somewhat sporty look.

Comes with all original papers and boxes, sold new in 2010.

WILL SELL FOR $32,000
